Upon entering the main house, you step into a small hallway that connects all areas of the apartment. Straight ahead are two doors — one leading to the bedroom with a French bed, and the other opening into the living space.

The living room is connected to a small kitchen and dining area, creating an open and functional layout. A large window offers views of nature and the Danube, filling the space with natural light.
This area includes a TV, a sofa, armchairs, two single beds, and a dining table — designed for shared moments and everyday comfort.

From the hallway, the bathroom is located to the right, while a small storage room is positioned on the left, providing additional practicality during your stay.

The house is one of the oldest properties in the area, carrying a quiet sense of history. Carefully renovated with respect for its original character, it offers modern comfort while preserving an authentic atmosphere that makes its age almost impossible to notice.

In the evenings, nature truly comes alive. Guests may hear the distant sounds of wildlife, including jackals echoing from the surrounding forests, adding to the raw and authentic experience of the region. On clear nights, the sky reveals an impressive display of stars — thanks to the absence of artificial light across the river in Romania, where untouched nature dominates the opposite shore.

Tekija and its surroundings offer a wide range of activities for guests who enjoy both relaxation and outdoor experiences, all set within the natural rhythm of the Danube and the Iron Gate region.

Guests can enjoy fishing, as well as boat, speedboat, or small craft rides along the Danube, offering unique views of the river and surrounding landscapes.
